  प्रतिपच्चन्द्रलेखेव वर्धिष्णुर्विश्ववन्दिता | शाहसूनो: शिवस्यैषा मुद्रा भद्राय राजते ||   The Sanskrit inscription on Shivaji Maharaj's royal seal, or Rajmudra, translates to " This seal of Shivaji, son of Shahaji, will grow like the first-day moon, be worshipped by the world, and shine only for the well-being of the people.

 Let's go back to 19 February 1630... The day chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was born on 19th february 1630, The Marathi Shalivahana Hindu calendar birthdate  is  Falgun Krishna paksha 3 ,  at Shivneri Fort.He was born to a Rajmata Jijabai  who   was a  skilled horse rider, sword fighter, academician, and administrator , known for her virtue, valor, and foresight, which she passed down to her son.   His father, Shahaji Raje Bhosale  was a 17th century Indian military leader who served the  Ahmadnagar Sultanate , the  Bijapur Sultanate , and the  Mughal Empire  at various points in his career.
